Our mission is to serve the education, certification, communication and networking needs of purchasing professionals in the greater Pittsburgh area. We will do this to enhance the purchasing profession, image and ethics and to maximize membership value.
The National Association of Purchasing Management - Pittsburgh is a not-for profit corporation registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State.
The Association, organized in 1915, was incorporated as the Purchasing Agents Association of Pittsburgh, Inc. on June 15, 1936.
On September 23, 1971, the Association became the Purchasing Management Association of Pittsburgh, Inc.
